A 31-year-old model who drowned after partying on a yacht in Miami allegedly fled Brazil after being involved in a multi-million-dollar scam with her former husband, according to Brazilian authorities Adriana Vieria, whose body was found floating near Key Biscayne on September 21, and her husband, Roberto Tersário, were among two couples who masterminded the plot which included targeting customers who paid for products that were never delivered. The ring, which was dismantled in June 2020, hawked electronic products, ranging from cell phones to televisions that were sold below retail through a business named 123 Importados.
