ERIN Andrews is a 20-plus-year veteran reporter, so she is aware of how one can handle a troublesome state of affairs or two on the sidelines.
On her Calm Down podcast with co-host Charissa Thompson, the 45-year-old Fox NFL star revealed the method for conducting tough sideline interviews.
Andrews and Thompson fielded questions from followers on Episode 215 of their podcast.
One inquiry the two determined to answer asked the best way to strategy a halftime interview with a "furious coach."
"We've stated it before and we'll say it once more," Andrews started, replying to the query.
"Those are the toughest interviews, I feel. Or a dropping Super Bowl interview or a dropping NFC Championship interview is admittedly, really exhausting.
"Pay attention, I really feel like I'm at this point where I'm grateful for all of the coaches and their trust in us and the whole lot like that.
"I just actually attempt to handle it, get out of their means, ask the query fast.
"Additionally this past week going into the locker room – I knew, I mean we all knew – San Francisco's offense not performing like they needed to. Protection is slipping around. Simply get to it.
"'Hey, with the weather, with the best way Green Bay's protection is enjoying you, what do it's essential to modify, or what are you in search of your offense?'
"Simply get to it fast. Also, be a human. You don't need to be like, 'Third down, what occurred?'
"Additionally I feel this too, and I've discovered this from my producer, and I've discovered this from Greg and Kevin and other individuals, don't try to act like you already know more than the coach.
"Because, by the best way, you don't. That's why a variety of occasions I don't query a call with them, I just say, 'What was the thought with that?'
"Like, who am I?"
Andrews has been involved in a number of the wildest interviews in NFL history.

This weekend, Andrews will conduct sideline interviews on Sunday for the NFC Championship Recreation.
