Both raised in Clayton County, Georgia, Latto and Brooklyn grew up with their mother, Misti Pitts, and father, Shayne Stephens. The girls had a quiet life of playing sports — and their favorite board game, LIFE — before Latto got her big break on Lifetime's The Rap Game, taking home the winning title at just 18 years old in 2016.
