Bud Lite and cereal? How Keegan Bradley celebrated his PGA Championship win

NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. – It’s hard for Keegan Bradley to believe that it’s been 15 years since he edged Jason Dufner in a three-hole aggregate playoff to etch his name on the famed Wanamaker Trophy and win the 2011PGA Championship.

USA TODAY

How did he celebrate?

“I remember driving out of the Atlanta Athletic Club with the Wanamaker in my lap, holding it like this, and we were looking at each other like, this is crazy,” he recalled on Monday during his press conference ahead of the 108thPGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club.

Keegan Bradley speaks to the media during a press conference ahead of the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

By the time he finished all his media obligations that Sunday night in Atlanta, it was late and he was starving.

“We were trying to get some beers or something,” he recounted. “And we went back, and I had Bud Light and cereal for dinner. We still have a picture of it in my house somewhere… It was the best meal of my life.

“And then I took the trophy and put it right next to my bed. I remember waking up in the morning and looking at it, like this is crazy. I can't believe this.

“And then I got back, and a few of my buddies picked me up. I was single and 25 years old, and all my buddies picked me up from the airport. We went on a few-day celebration tour with the trophy, bringing it everywhere. One of those moments that you get to share with people, and you know, some of the fondest memory of my life.”

Bradley returns to a course where he has some of his other fondest memories. He won the 2018 BMW Championship at Aronimink at a time when he was struggling to figure out a new technique for making putts after the USGA and R&A banned the belly putter.

“I had this really incredible moment that I'll never forget the rest of my career that happened here,” Bradley said. “I was on the eighth green and it's adjacent to the 10th green and I'm in the final couple groups and I'm leading the tournament, and on the 10th green was Tiger Woods in his red and black. I looked up at the leaderboard and he was one back of me. I remember thinking, this is so crazy that I'm in this spot again and there's my idol and he's trying to chase me down and he's right there. It was just a moment that I was really proud that I put myself back in position to be there.”

Bradley topped the field that week in putting and sealed the deal at the par-3 17th, sticking a 6-iron inside 10 feet and making birdie.

“It was one of the best shots I’ve ever hit,” he said. “I never knew if I would win again on Tour and I get to win for the first time in five or six years and the first time I got to win with my family here,” he explained. “My son, Logan, was a little baby, and they ran out on the green. So, it was a dream for me since I was a little kid to be able to experience that.”

With his game rounding into form and finally beginning to put the pain of being a losing Ryder Cup captain behind him, Bradley would love nothing more than to be strapping the Wanamaker in his front seat again on Sunday and celebrating with Bud Lite and cereal.

Mark Consuelosis opening up about the loss of his father.

In an exclusive clip from the Tuesday, May 12 episode of iHeartRadio'sI've Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDariopodcast, theLive with Kelly and Markco-host became emotional while reflecting on the death of his father,Saul Consuelos, whodied in March 23 after a lengthy illness.

“You know, I lost my father five weeks ago,” Consuelos tells host Tommy DiDario, in a conversation taped on May 1. “And it was kind of a brutal five-month saga leading up to him passing. I knew it was happening. We all knew, this is going to happen.”

The actor, who is currently starring in the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival ofFallen Angelson Broadway, says he prayed for “a merciful exit” for his father and was grateful that “it happened that way — very quickly and painlessly.”

Still, even though he tried to emotionally prepare himself for "the eventuality" of the loss ahead of time, when his father died, the reality hit hard.

“My father’s a mythical character to me,” Consuelos explains. “He’s, like, the best man I’ve ever met. Everything good that I’ve kind of globbed onto of how I carry myself comes from him.”

“I guess what I haven’t said is, I miss my dad,” he continues. “I’ve never said that. I’ve never said, ‘I miss my dad.’ Because he’s always been in my life. He’s always been available to me.”

The 55-year-old says he was in tech rehearsals forFallen Angelswhen his father died, forcing him to “compartmentalize” his grief while continuing to work on the production. “It was a welcomed distraction because I had to do this,” he says.

But when his family gathered for a memorial service, the loss became more real. “We just had a memorial for him this past Monday, where the family all got together,” he says. “And the reality of him being gone hit, of himactuallybeing gone.”

Though he says he still feels his father’s presence strongly, the actor became emotional while describing what he misses most.

“I am starting to…,” Consuelos says before taking a deep breath. “I’m going to miss just giving him a hug and holding his hand and just laughing with him. That’s something I’ve never said in my life. I’m going to miss my dad.”

DiDario went on to thank Consuelos for sharing the moment, pointing out how helpful his words would be to "anyone going through their grief right now.”

"He’s certainly proud of you," DiDario says. "Look at everything you’re doing. Broadway star!"

That inspired Consuelos to share how he honors his father before walking onstage each night. “I do look up in the house every now and again,” he says. “You can’t really see, because of the lights. And I kind of picture [him]. I think about him before I go on stage.”

Consuelos announced his father’s death on the April 22 episode ofLive with Kelly and Mark.“My father passed away peacefully surrounded by family and love,” he said at the time, adding that his father “lived a beautiful life.”

"He came here from Mexico in his early teens, he immigrated here from Mexico. He served his country for 30 years. Ended up at Special Operations Command in Tampa. This young kid from Mexico just got his education from the Navy. Was always going to school. Was brilliant. Got his master's while I was a kid," he shared.

“He loved his country so much,” Consuelos added. “If you’re going to put a face to an immigrant, he would be the prime example of what this country promises people.”

Spurs C Victor Wembanyama throws elbow, ejected from Game 4

San Antonio Spurs star center Victor Wembanyama was ejected from Sunday night's 114-109 playoff loss against the Timberwolves in the second quarter after throwing an elbow into the face of Minnesota's Naz Reid.

Field Level Media

Wembanyama grabbed a rebound and was trying to protect the ball from two Timberwolves during Game 4 of the Western Conference second-round series in Minneapolis. Then he turned and unleashed a vicious right elbow into the chin of Reid and was called for a foul with 8:39 left in the first half.

"I just think that with the physicality they try to play against him, at some point you're going to have to protect yourself," Spurs coach Mitch Johnson said about Wembanyama having to defend himself. "Every single play on every single part of the floor, people are trying to impose their physicality on him."

The officiating crew studied views of the play before upgrading the foul to a flagrant 2, which is an automatic ejection.

"After review, there was windup, impact and follow-through above the neck of an opponent," head official Zach Zarba announced. "It was unnecessary and excessive contact by Wembanyama and it meets all the criteria and it has been upgraded to a flagrant foul penalty 2. Wembanyama has been ejected."

The Spurs trailed 36-34 at the time of the ejection, and Reid proceeded to make both his foul shots for a four-point lead. Wembanyama had four points, four rebounds and no blocks in 12-plus minutes.

Asked by reporters if he thought Wembanyama could be suspended for Game 5, Johnson said, "No. There was zero intent. To have anything on top of that, I think, would be ridiculous.

"(The referees) did what they did because of the outcome of the play."

As for Reid, he appears to be no worse for wear following the elbow.

"Pain is weakness leaving the body, that's it," Reid said.

Wembanyama had an epic performance in Game 3 when he recorded 39 points, 15 rebounds and five blocked shots in the 115-108 road victory on Friday. He became the fourth different player in NBA history to produce at least 35 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks in a playoff game.

The Timberwolves evened the best-of-seven series with the victory on Sunday. Game 5 is Tuesday in San Antonio.

West Plains football hires Jeff Lofton to lead program

A little less than a monthafter Adam Cummings stepped down from his roleas the head football coach of West Plains, the program knows the name of its new leader.

USA TODAY

And it's a familiar face with plenty of prior success.

Jeff Lofton, who holds more than two decades of experience on the sidelines of multiple Texas high schools, was named the second coach in West Plains program history Monday. Previously, Lofton served as the associate head football coach and head powerlifting coach for the Wolves.

The move occurred on the heels of Cummings, who headed the program for four years, announcing he would not continue in the role of head coach for the 2026 season. Canyon ISD shared April 13 in a press conference that Cummings was moving into a new leadership role within the district, as the newly named Executive Director of Schools and Leadership.

Cummings left a difficult seat to replace, amassing a 42-13 record in four seasons and guided the Wolves to the quarterfinal round in 2025 — advancing to the postseason each year of his tenure. The Wolves also secured a second straight unbeaten District 2-4A Division I championship in 2025.

Before joining West Plains, Lofton spent 13 years at Idalou High School, with nine as the head football coach and athletic director. During that time, Lofton guided the program to a 73-33 mark in nine years at the helm of the Wildcats.

In 2023, Lofton appeared to be hired as the head coach at Brownfield, but elected to stay at West Plains where he'd accepted a job as an assistant and been a year prior. Several years later, he takes over the same program.

Lofton, a 1997 graduate of Idalou, was an assistant coach at the school since 2009. At the time, he was 34 years old when named the head coach of the Wildcats. He had stints as an assistant at Midlothian (2002-04), Midland Greenwood (2004-05), Monterey (2005-07) and Kennedale (2008-09) before returning to Idalou to begin the 2009 season.

Kris Jenner Claims Ozempic Made Her 'So Sick' Before Finding Her 'Game Changer'

NEED TO KNOW

  • The 70-year-old Kardashian-Jenner matriarch and momager admitted to trying Ozempic before it became popular

  • She ultimately decided the popular GLP-1 wasn’t right for her

Kris Jenneris sharing the “game changer” she switched to after Ozempic made her feel sick.

During a Tuesday, May 5 appearance on theSHE MD Podcast, the 70-year-old momager and businesswoman told hosts OBGYN Dr. Thais Aliabadi and women's advocate Mary Alice Haney why the popular GLP-1 didn’t work for her.

“I did not do, like, an Ozempic,” Jenner said. “I tried it. We tried it once when no one knew what it was and it made me really sick.”

Thinking back on the moment, Jenner said she told Aliabadi, "I can't work anymore. I can't. I'm so sick. I can't, like nauseous. And so she goes, ‘Okay, okay. Let's try something else.’”

Together, they “dialed around and looked at different options.”

Earlier in the conversation, the podcast hosts asked Jenner how she maintains her looks.

After explaining her history with the weight-loss drug that was originally used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes and to lower the risk of major cardiovascular events, themother of sixshared what finally did work for her.

“I realized that a peptide injection was really great for me,” Jenner said. “And then I follow it up with supplements.”

Injectable peptides, or short chains of amino acids, have risen in popularity in recent years. The injections can be used to induce weight loss and improve athletic performance, among other purported benefits, according to theAmerican Medical Association. Experts caution, though, that the effects of some of these peptides have not been studied extensively, and they may cause side effects ranging from stomach discomfort to pancreatitis.

TheKardashiansstar said Aliabadi advises her on which supplements to add to her diet, such as fish oils and omega-3s.

“And that was a game changer,” Jenner said. “That actually bought me an extra couple hours at night because I get up so early. I tend to want to go and collapse as soon as I have my last email or my last call or see my kids and have dinner and I'm done.”

She added that the peptides gave her more energy than she previously had, and that the supplements are also good for hair, nails and skin.

Jenner also acknowledged the impact of her "very famous" facelift, which went viral in 2025.

“I had a very, well-known facelift a year ago. So that was helpful,” she said with a laugh, crediting Dr. Steven Levine for his work.

The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch recently addressed a report byRadarOnlinethat speculated she was allegedly "raging" about the results of her procedure just months after she debuted her refreshed look.

"Lately, it's this headline about my facelift, which is really truly driving me crazy," Jenner told her daughterKhloé Kardashianon theKhloé in Wonderlandpodcastin late April. "The headline right now is that I hate my facelift, and I'm really mad at — I'm furious at my doctor, Steven Levine, which couldn't be further from the truth. It's a flat-out lie. I love my facelift. I adore my doctor. I'm obsessed with him."

Jenner also said she normally doesn’t entertain rumors, but she decided to speak out because the stories were "really hurting someone else," referencing Levine.

After her second facelift went viral last summer, she toldVogue Arabiain an August 2025 cover interview, “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy."
